Vitamin E has long been shown to be good for your hair and your skin. It's an antioxidant, which means it helps to prevent any oxidizing agents from hurting your body. Like folic acid, you can find vitamin E in green, leafy vegetables. You can also get it in a daily multi-vitamin. Just be careful if you are taking medicine for high blood pressure because too much vitamin E can negate the effects of your medication.
